Dr. Kantzer holds the B.A. from Ashland College, the M.A. from Ohio State University, the S.T.M. from Faith Seminary, and the Ph.D. from Harvard University. He has served as Dean of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for the past fifteen years. On January 1, 1979 he began his duties as editor of Christian- ity Today. [ Heading 6 ] Seminary Faculty V. [ Verse 2 ] My gracious Master and my God, Assist me to proclaim, To spread through all the earth abroad, The honors of Thy name. [ Verse 3 ] Jesus! the name that charms our fears, That bids our sorrows cease; 'Tis music in the sinner’s ears, 'Tis life, and health, and peace, [ Verse 4 ] He breaks the power of canceled sin, He sets the prisoner free; His blood can make the foulest clean; His blood availed for me. [ Verse 5 ] Hear Him, ye deaf; His praise, ye dumb, Your loosened tongues employ; Ye blind, behold your Savour come; And leap, ye lame, for joy. Amen. [ Heading 6b ] PRAISE YE THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY [ Verse 1 ] Praise ye the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, Now to His temple draw near; Join me in glad adoration! [ Verse 2 ] Praise ye the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth, Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth! Hast thou not seen How thy desires e’er have been Granted in what He ordaineth? [ Verse 3 ] Praise ye the Lord, who with marvelous wisdom hath made thee! Decked thee with health, and with loving hand guilded and stayed thee; How oft in grief Hath not He brought thee relief. Spreading His wings for to shade thee!
