He came to OTS to receive practical preparation for the pastoral ministry and to learn to do Greek and Hebrew Exegesis. He will be the interim pastor of Calvary Missionary Church in Owen Sound. CHUNG, ANDREW Andrew comes from Seoul, Korea and received a B.Th. from Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Seoul. He served as Christian Education Director at the Sung-Min Presbyterian Church in Seoul. His purpose in coming to OTS was to be well qualified to serve the Lord in the future- especially in a western and evangelical way. He plans to receive more training in the future, working toward a Th.M. in N.T. in order to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary in an unreached field. FIETJE, WILLEM Willem comes from Cambridge, Ontario and received a B.A. in History at the University of Waterloo, and an Engineering Certificate (architecture and highway) from Conestoga College. He was a missionary in Thailand under Overseas Missionary Fellowship and came to OTS to complete his M.Div. He will return to Thailand and in the future would like to pursue a Th.M. in Church History. HORST, GARY Gary comes from St. Jacobs and received a Diploma in Agriculture and a B.Sc. from MacDonald College of McGill University. He came to OTS to prepare for future full-time Christian ministry and his time here has increased his call to the pastoral ministry, possibly in a Mennonite Church in Canada. LEUNG, Ml KI NONA Nona comes from Hong Kong with a diploma in Communication from Hong Kong Baptist College. She came to OTS to prepare for the ministry and she and her husband will return to Hong Kong where he will enter pastoral ministry and she will teach in secondary school, working towards a team ministry with her husband in an Anglican parish. [Page Six] LI, RAYMOND Raymond comes from Hong Kong and received a B.Sc. at the University of Toronto. He came to O.T.S. for the purpose of developing a closer relationship with God, gain- ing a better understanding of the Bible, and to fellowship with and learn from fellow students with different denominational and theological backgrounds. He plans to be involved in the pastoral ministry in Canada and hopefully continue theological studies some time in the future. RUSSELL, PAUL T. Paul comes from Scarborough and received his B.Th. from Ontario Bible College. He came to O.T.S. to prepare for pastoral ministry and will be teaching Bible School overseas with Africa Evangelical Fellowship. VISRAM, ZAHIR Zahir comes from St. Catharines and received his B.A. from Brock University. Prior to coming to OTS he was a college and career leader as well as a Sunday School teacher. He came to OTS for academic preparation for a teaching and pastoral ministry. He hopes to enter the pastoral ministry in the Mennonite Brethren Conference. [ Heading 6b ] MASTER OF THEOLOGICAL STUDIES ANTHONY, Stanley H. Stanley is from Toronto and received a B.A. from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Prior to coming to OTS he was involved in the Salvation Army pastoral ministry. He was attracted to OTS by our special courses and lectures and came to further prepare for ministry and disciplined study of the Scriptures. He will serve as academic vice-president, Catherine Booth Memorial Bible College, Winnipeg. BINKLEY, LAURA L. Laura is from Toronto (North York) and received her B.A. at the University of Toronto. Prior to coming to OTS she served as a volunteer with a drop-in centre for semi-delinquent teenagers and with a campus outreach organization. She came to OTS to further prepare for full-time Christian work or well integrated secular work. Laura is looking for a possible campus or music ministry. [Page Seven] BROWN, ROBERT D. Robert comes from New Castle, Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. Before coming to OTS Robert was a pastor in Pennsylvania for four years. He has served with International Missions Inc. since 1958 -- as missionary among E. Indians in Kenya, Canadian Director of IMI, and is presently involved in ministry to E. Indians in Toronto. He came to OTS to expand his learning and to obtain a master's degree enabling him to teach Bible at a high school or college level. He will probably return to Kenya to teach in a Bible College. CHUNG, MAUREEN MAN-LING Maureen comes from North York and received her B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario with a computer science major. Before coming to OTS Maureen was involved in the youth ministry at the Chinese Presbyterian Church of Toronto and served as a member of the church planting team at the Agincourt Chinese Presbyterian Mission. She came to OTS because of its inter-denominational evangelical position and to become better equipped to serve the Lord. At the present she will remain affiliated with the mission work of the Chinese Presbyterian Church of Toronto and in the future would like to be involved in church planting at home or overseas. COLLINS, DAVID David is from Kingston and has his B.A. from Concordia University, Montreal. After some years in business he decided to prepare for the ministry and will be the Assistant pastor, Phillpot Memorial Church, Hamilton. COPLAND, RUTH Ruth comes from Windsor, Ontario and received her B.Sc.N. from the University of Windsor. She came to OTS to prepare for service with the Leprosy Mission and will be serving as a nurse with that mission in Papua, New Guinea. FUNG, JOHN TSIN John is from Toronto and received a Diploma in Civil Engineering in Hong Kong and a BRE from Central Baptist Seminary in Toronto. He has a background in pastoral ministry at North York Chinese [Page Eight] Baptist Church and Southwest Chinese Church in Houston, Texas. John came to OTS to earn his Master's degree during his sabbatical and will continue in the pastoral ministry at Brampton Chinese Baptist Mission. GRAHAM, CHARLENE E. Charlene comes from Edmonton, Alberta, and prior to coming to OTS taught in a country school at Spruce Grove outside Edmonton. She received a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Alberta. She has also been involved at St. Andrew's United Church in Edmonton in senior choir, Bible study and as co-leader of C.G.l.T. She originally came for one year to gain a foundation in Bible and staying for a second year was a surprise. She feels she has gained a solid base in these two years. Her summer plan is to be in the Philippines with O.M.F. , and although her plans for the fall are not firm, she is confident in Who is going with her. HAZZARD, DAVID E. David comes to us from Kitchener where he received his B.Th., and BRE from Emmanuel Bible College. Prior to coming to OTS he served as Assistant Pastor at Kitchener Gospel Temple for 2 years. He came to OTS to receive a greater exposure to the Church of Jesus Christ as a whole and to gain a greater knowledge of God and His Word for future ministry. He plans a teaching ministry, in a Third World Theological Institution, and until that time will be assistant pastor, Pickering Pentecostal Church. HEALEY, DAVID P. David comes from Woodbridge, Ontario having received his B.Ed. from the University of Toronto and B.A. from Bethel College. Before coming to OTS he taught in a Christian high school in Woodbridge. He came to gain in the areas of counselling, missions and preaching. He anticipates involvement in youth ministry or ministry to business people in India. HOLLEY, F. MARION Marion comes from Calgary, Alberta. She received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University in Kingston. Before coming to OTS she was involved in discipleship of single and young married women through the Navigator 2:7 series at First Alliance Church in Calgary. For the next two years she will remain in Toronto while her husband completes his training at OTS [Page Nine] and then they plan to engage in Missionary service in Irian Jaya, Indonesia. HUGHES, DEAN WYNFORD Dean is from Toronto and received his B.A. in history from the University of Toronto. Before coming to OTS he was with Operation Mobilization on their ship M.V. Logos in South Asia for one year. His aim in coming to OTS was to gain understand of the Bible and theology in preparation for service. He plans to return to University of Toronto to obtain a Bachelor of Education degree and then teach in the Middle East as a 'tent-maker' among Muslim people. JAMES, DOUGLAS ROBERT Doug is from Cape Breton and holds a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo. He will continue as Assistant pastor, Richmond Hill Pentecostal Church. KALAP, RAMNARINE Ram comes from Guyana, South America. He received a B.Th. at OBC. Before enrolling at OTS he was involved in various churches and para-church organiza- tions in his field ed. service through OBC, and served as assistant pastor for two summers at First Baptist Church in Smiths Falls. In coming to OTS he hoped to build on the foundation laid at OBC and further his education. His future plans are indefinite at the moment but his interest lies in a ministry as assistant pastor or youth pastor. KLIEWER, AL Al is from Markham, and possesses a B.A. from the University of Manitoba and a B.Th. from the Mennonite Brethren Bible College. He is seeking a pastorate in a Mennonite congregation. LAWLOR, MARGARET J. Margaret comes from Halifax, N.S. and received a B.A. in Psychology and Religious Studies from Richmond College. Prior to coming to OTS she served full-time with the Salvation Army and was most recently stationed in Newmarket. Her purpose in coming to OTS was to better qualify herself for the teaching and preaching ministry to which she feels called and she will continue in a full-time service with the Salvation Army. [Page Ten] LEUNG, JOSEPH Joseph is from Hong Kong and has a B.A. from the University of Toronto. He is serving in the field of Chartered Accountancy. LEUNG, SELINA HO Selina originally came from Hong Kong but since 1973 has lived in Toronto. She received her B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and was involved in a Chinese Student Ministry in Scarborough College. She came to OTS to gain a better biblical foundation for ministry. For the future she is looking toward an internship at North York Chinese Baptist Church, and also working with her husband Michael, another OTS graduate, in Ambassadors for Christ, a ministry among Chinese young people. MacLEOD, DAVID David is a Torontonian, with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo. David will be working and continuing his studies, hoping to minister either in Canada or England. OHANAKA, OGUERINWA JAMES James comes from Nigeria. He received a Diploma in Mining from Cambrian College. Before coming to OTS he served for 3 years in Nigeria as Secretary of Kaduna Scripture Union and Kaduna Crusade Evangelism Committee. His aim in coming to OTS was to develop a practical theology that is biblically based and thoroughly Christian, providing the basis for personal spiritual development and effective ministry for the Lord. He plans to return to Nigeria with his wife Chika, for full-time ministry in evangelism. PEETOOM, JACOBUS Jacobus comes from Chilliwack, B.C. and before that Rotterdam in the Netherlands. He received a B.Th. from Canadian Bible College, Regina. Prior to coming to OTS he served in a church planting ministry in the Netherlands for six years, during which time two new churches were established. At OTS he hoped to gain better knowledge in preparation for further ministry. He will be assistant pastor of Bethesda Church, Winnipeg. POOLER, SUSAN C. Susan comes from Strome, Alberta and received her B.Ed. degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to coming to OTS she was an elementary school teacher and was involved as a Bible study leader of the church women's group and secretary for the local chapter of [Page Eleven] the United Church Renewal Fellowship. In coming to OTS she hoped to gain a better understanding and knowledge of the Bible and to prepare for ministry. She plans to return to teaching elementary school, possibly in a Christian school, with a future interest in overseas missions. TORRENS, JOHN L. John is from London, Ontario and received his B.A., B.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to coming to OTS he taught religious education in Norfolk County public schools and served as pastoral intern in youth ministry at North Park Community Chapel in London. He came to further equip for ministry and is presently the Administrative Assistant at Joy Bible Camp, Bancroft, Ontario. WILEY, WILSON THOMAS Wilson comes from Plattsville, Ontario with a B.A. from University of Windsor and M.Ed. from Wayne State University. Before coming to OTS he has been pastor of Plattsville Missionary Church, Beulah Missionary Church in Elkhart, Indiana, and associate pastor of Banfield Memorial Church in Willowdale. He came to further prepare for the pastoral ministry. He will be pastor of New Life Brethren in Christ Church, Collingwood, Ontario. WRIGHT, JAMES L. James is from Bramalea and received his B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo and B.R.E. from Briercrest Bible College. He served in Sunday School departments in his local church and camp counselling during the summer, as well as a pastoral internship one summer. He came to OTS to gain further knowledge and experience, allowing for personal enrichment in preparation for ministry. He has been accepted for full-time French studies for the fall at Laval University in Quebec City and has applied to Gospel Missionary Union with the view of serving in a church planting ministry in Belgium. [Page Twelve] [ Heading 6c ] CERTIFICATE IN BIBLICAL STUDIES COSH, SUSAN MARY Susan comes from Belleville, Ontario. She received her B.A. and B.Ed. from Queen's University in Kingston. In coming to OTS she hoped to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures and to seek a greater awareness of missions and how God wants her to be involved in that area of service. She will probably continue her teaching either public or Christian elementary school . GATLEY, ROBERT Rob is from Willowdale and possesses a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, and an honors B.A. from the University of Western Ontario. He is proceeding toward an M.Sc. in pathology, and looks forward to medical missionary work or a campus ministry overseas. KING, JOANNE D. Joanne comes from Windsor, Ontario having received her B.A. in History and M.Ed. in Curriculum from the University of Windsor. She is a teacher on sabbatical leave this year. Her church involvement was in the area of choir member, S.S. superintendent and Board member. She hoped to gain spiritual growth and develop knowledge of the Bible. She will return to elementary school teaching and continue serving in her home church, Temple Baptist, as adult Bible Class teacher. KINGSWOOD, JEFFREY J. Jeffrey is from Cambridge, Ontario having received his B.A. in Political Studies from the University of Guelph. He came to OTS to obtain a foundational biblical theology. He plans to pursue his M.Div. at Knox College for future Presbyterian Ministry. LEE, CINDY YIM-LING Cindy comes from the Ottawa/Montreal area. She received her B.A. at the University of Ottawa and in the past has been involved in Sunday School, children's ministry, church library and visitation. Her purpose in coming to OTS was to develop a greater understanding of the Bible, grow in her own Christian life and to influence the lives of people around her. She will be returning for the time being to her position [Page Thirteen] with the Department of Mines and Energy Resources and her work with the Ottawa Chinese United Church, while seriously considering missions in Asia. MILLEY, GARRY E. Garry comes from Peterborough, Ontario having received his B.A. from Baptist Christian College and B.A. from Memorial University, Newfoundland. He is an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies. He came to OTS to gain a theological foundation for Bible College teaching ministry and will continue to teach at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough, Ont. MOK, JOSEPH Joseph is from Hong Kong and possesses a B.A. from the University of Toronto. He will be serving as Assistant-to-the-minister, Toronto Chinese Presbyterian Church. RADKOWSKI, LILA-MAY D. Lila-May is from Toronto with a B.A. from the University of Toronto. She came to OTS to learn more about God and His Word in order to apply her Christianity in her personal life and job, and to become skilled in counselling to work with youth. Her future plans are to work with delinquents in a group home and to teach music. TONG, AARON CHAN YUEN Aaron comes from Waterloo where he received his B.A. Sc. at the University of Waterloo. He has served in his local church in areas of Sunday School teaching and on the church board. At university he served as group leader for a cell group with The Chinese Christian Fellowship. He came to OTS to be better equipped in biblical studies in the area of exegesis in Greek and Hebrew. His plans for the future are to work as an engineer in China, and in the meantime to continue his theological training in Hong Kong and to work with a Lutheran ministry there. YONG, KENNETH Kenneth comes from Malaysia and has a degree in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University. He was involved in campus ministry for three years with the Chinese Christian Fellowship. He came to OTS seeking to build a foundation in his understanding of God's Word, and to gain teaching and exposure to [Page Fourteen] different theological ideas, as well as gaining church work experience through field ed.
