Ron Albinet will continue his work with Hospitality, an organization that works among Muslim peoples of Toronto. Craig Allison will be working on a Master of Business Administration degree. James Amy will pastor the Memorial Congregational Christian Church, Stouffville, Ontario. Jin-Soo (Jim) Bae plans to move to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas to attend Southwestern Baptist Seminary and be involved in a Korean Church serving as pastor of English ministry. Matthew Barsoum trusts that God will lead him into the role of a community support pastor to the sick and needy. W. Mark Beattie will continue to work as an accountant with Imperial Life in Toronto and provide leadership to the youth ministry program at York Memorial Presbyterian Church, Toronto. Lorna Beatty is seriously considering attending Knox College to prepare for the Presbyterian ministry with an emphasis on hospital chaplaincy. Gordon Bjorgan will continue to serve on the faculty of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, Peterborough, Ontario, with teaching responsibilities in the Department of Bible and Theology. Harvia Blake plans to put to use her counselling major by opening a counselling service in the Toronto area, which will operate in conjunction with the needs and referrals of the various churches within the black community. Harry Bloch will be pursuing further studies with the aim of serving in a relief and development agency. Norman Bodach will continue as a youth worker with Toronto Teen Challenge as well as continuing studies in Social Work. Norm also plans to begin itinerant ministry in youth and social ministry. Marion Cameron is planning to return to the computing profession. Georgina Cawfield will continue studies toward her MDiv degree as well as continue her outreach ministry at the Peoples Church. Jan Chan will continue in his work as an accountant and as an active leader in his congregation. Pamela Chander will tentatively be working with the Canadian Centre for World Missions. [ Page Nine ] Barclay Chong will continue to pastor the Chinese congregation, which he founded as a student at OTS. Dong Chung will continue to pastor the Brampton Korean United Church. Chris Cooley is planning to continue to work at North York Hydro as a project supervisor in the computer systems division. Stephen Cooper will be pastoring with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Robert Daley will continue working as a pastor with Huntingville Community Church (Christian Brethren) near Lennoxville, Quebec. Tim Day is presently looking for a youth pastor position. Michel de Billy intends to prepare to go back to South Korea as an Overseas Missionary Fellowship medical missionary, be ordained in a Korean Presbyterian denomination, and teach in the medical school at the Christian University in Pusan. Paul Dixon is currently teaching grades 4/5 in the Roman Catholic Separate School Board in Brantford, Ontario. Andrew Eason hopes to enter a ThM program at Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia. Jonanne Fenton will be involved in part-time, church-based, pastoral counselling/teaching ministry with the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec. Richard Fontanna has been hired as summer camp administrator for Camp Kakeka, a ministry of Christian Service Brigade. He is planning on attending teachers' college in the fall. Keith Fryer will continue to function as a teaching elder and co- director of Christian Education at Hilltop Chapel, Etobicoke, a Christian Brethren assembly. Sharon Gernon will continue counselling with the Meadowbrook Counselling Associates in Unionville and doing management training with the firm Gernon & Gernon. Susan Gilmore will be completing a 3-year term as youth pastor at Sherkston Brethren in Christ Church and will be assisting her future husband, an OTS alumnus Phil Shamas, in his youth ministry at Kanata Baptist (BCOQ) Church, Kanata, Ontario. Alan Goh plans to enter full-time ministry in the Presbyterian Church in Canada after another year of studies at Knox College. He will continue to serve as the English service worker at Markham Chinese Presbyterian Church. Todd Graves will continue his ministry with Metro Toronto Youth For Christ alongside his encouraging wife, Lori. [ Page Ten ] Gloria Hammond is a Salvation Army officer and has been stationed to teach at the Catherine Booth Bible College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. John Iseminger will be working with the Wycliffe Bible Translators. Robert Kim will be at Knox College preparing for the Presbyterian ministry. Iris Lam will be seeking a position in women's ministry in a Chinese Church in Toronto. John Latta, along with his wife and daughter, plan to participate in the ministry of Muskoka Woods this summer and pursue an administrative role in a camping ministry in the fall. Nil Lavallee will continue as the pastor of Wellington Street Pentecostal Church, Bracebridge, Ontario. Cherry Lee will be pursuing the MTS program. Marilyn Lemon will continue in her present lay capacity at Danforth Baptist (BCOQ) Church, but is open to urban ministry in Canada or overseas. Sharon Lepp-Read will continue to pursue her long-term goal of cross-cultural ministry overseas. Greg Macaulay will be pastoring this summer at South Sauble Community Church in Sauble Beach, Ontario. Jonathan Mah will be seeking pastoral ministry with the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches. Lloyd Markle will continue to pastor Olivet Baptist (Fellowship) Church, Meaford, Ontario. Karen Hillmer Petersen will be leaving for San Jose, Costa Rica in August with Latin America Missions's Christ for the City program. She will study Spanish for the year after which she will be training youth leaders in developing churches. Mark Petersen will be leaving for San Jose, Costa Rica in August to serve with Latin America Mission's Christ for the City program. He anticipates training pastoral and lay leaders in developing churches. Mark Potma plans to pursue an overseas teaching opportunity. Abraham Rahi will continue planting and pastoring the Christian Arab Evangelical Church in Toronto. He has recently become a father and his long-term goals include pursuing higher education and overseas missionary work amongst Arabs in Europe. [ Page Eleven ] Michael (John) Rattee will continue as assistant pastor at Westside Baptist (Fellowship) Church in Hamilton. He is applying to various schools for post-graduate studies. Peter Robinson will be joining the pastoral team of Uptown Community Church, a Christian Brethren assembly in Thornhill. Clayton Rowe will be pastoring with the Free Methodist Church. Stephen Sheane will be on staff at Philpott Memorial Church (Associated Gospel Church), Hamilton, Ontario, as youth pastor. Dona Slater will be married and living in Toronto while her husband pursues doctoral studies at University of Toronto. Lynn Smith will continue as the Dean of Students at Ontario Theological Seminary. Bee Lee Soh will continue at OTS to complete the MDiv program, with plans for missions in Japan. Brian Stewart is serving as the associate pastor at Alta Vista Baptist (Fellowship) Church, Ottawa. His primary responsibilities are college and careers, Christian education, discipleship and equipping. Carl Strutt will continue to minister as outreach pastor at Agincourt Pentecostal Church, Scarborough, Ontario. He is also considering doctoral studies in the near future. Robert Swinford will be continuing studies in the United States. Upon completion of these studies, Robert will enter full-time pastoral ministry with The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Jim Tam is assistant pastor of the Toronto Chinese Gospel (AGC) Church, with special pastoral responsibility for the new Grace Chinese Gospel Church. Florence Tang will be working as a part-time youth worker at Ottawa Chinese Alliance Church during the summer. In the fall, she will continue her studies at St. Paul's University, Ottawa. Catherine Thompson is planning to pursue advanced certification with the Canadian Association of Pastoral Education before seeking full-time hospital chaplaincy work. Henry Trickey has recently been appointed as Territorial Evangelist for the Salvation Army and as such will be engaged in crusade and outreach ministries across the nation. John Tsang will continue on as assistant pastor of youth ministries at Scarborough Chinese Baptist (BCOQ) Church. Gerrit Van Den Hurk will be active in his home church, the Stayner Brethren in Christ congregation. Jan van Vliet is presently working for the Canadian government as an economist in Yellowknife, North West Territories. [ Page Twelve ] Michael Wilkins will be pastoring Humber Blvd. Baptist (BCOQ) Church and will be a resident in the Baptist Urban Involvement in Leadership Development program. Terry Wiseman will either be working with the Salvation Army or pursuing further studies. Hiu-Kwan Brian Wong plans to marry OTS alumnus Yicksum Chan this summer and is looking for a full time ministry in a church. Mary Wong plans to serve in a local church ministry, working with children, youth and young adults. Tat-Kwan Wong will be continuing his medical practice in family medicine in Toronto and his active involvement in the Grace Chinese Gospel Church (AGC) of Toronto as a lay leader. Tommy Wong will continue to serve as pastor of the Markham Chinese Baptist (BCOQ) Church, and will begin the DMin study at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois in the summer. Bill Wylie will pursue a career in youth ministry. James Young is presently pastoring in Sugarland, Texas. Shirley Yung will be involved in local evangelism and pastoral work in Toronto and will also be working part-time on her MDiv Christian Education focus. ***** This is the end of the e-text.
