I came to Jesus as I was, Weary, and worn, and sad; I found in Him a resting - place, And He has made me glad. [Verse 2] I heard the voice of Jesus say, "Behold, I freely give The living water; thirsty one, Stoop down, and drink, and livel" I came to Jesus, and I drank Of that life-giving stream; My thirst was quenched, my soul revived, And now I live in Him. [Verse 3] I heard the voice of Jesus say, "I am this dark world's light; Look unto Me, thy morn shall rise. And all thy day be bright." I looked to Jesus, and I found In Him my Star, my Sun; And in that light of life I'll walk Till travelling days are done. [Heading 2.1.b] "Help Me, O Lord" [Verse 1] Help me, O Lord, the God of my salvation! I have no hope, no refuge but in Thee; Help me to make this perfect consecration, In life or death Thine evermore to be. [Verse 2] Help me, O Lord, to keep my pledge unbroken! Guard Thou my ways, my thoughts, my tongue, my heart; Help me to trust the word which Thou hast spoken, That from Thy paths my feet may ne'er depart. [Verse 3] Help me, O Lord! My strength is only weakness; Thine, Thine the power by which alone I live; Help me each day to bear the cross with meekness, Till Thou at last the promised crown shalt give. [ PAGE THREE - This a plea from the Board of Governors to all the friends of the College. ] [Heading 2.2] FINANCES The Board of Governors earnestly invites all friends of the College to share in its support. The present income is insufficient to meet its modest expenses. The number of students attending the College has more than doubled during the past five years. There were 335 registered in the full three-year course and 365 in the evening classes during the session 1934 -1935 which has just closed. The continued growth of the student body makes it imperative that the teaching faculty be increased in the immediate future. Every gift, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated, and may be sent to the Treasurer, Toronto Bible College, 16 Spadina Road, Toronto. An Annual Report and Calendar will be gladly sent to those who would like to have them. In response to many requests, an offering will be taken up this evening. The income so far received for the year ending April 30, 1935, is approximately $2,600 less than the year's expenses.
