[Verse 2] Peoples and realms of every tongue Dwell on His love with sweetest song; And infant voices shall proclaim Their early blessings on His Name. [Verse 3] To Him shall endless prayer be made, And endless praises crown His head; His name like sweet perfume shall rise With every morning sacrifice. [Verse 4] Then all the earth shall rise and bring Peculiar honours to its King; Angels descend with songs again, And earth repeat the loud Amen. [Heading 2.1.b] 2. O God Our Help [Verse 1] O GOD, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Our shelter from the stormy blast. And our eternal home. [Verse 2] Under the shadow of Thy throne Thy saints have dwelt secure ; Sufficient is Thine arm alone, And our defence is sure. [Verse 3] Before the hills in order stood, Or earth received her frame, From everlasting Thou art God, To endless years the same. [Verse 4] O God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Be Thou our guard while life shall last, And our eternal home. [Verse 2.1.c] 3. Help Me O Lord [Verse 1] HELP me, O Lord, the God of my salvation! I have no hope, no refuge but in Thee; Help me to make this perfect consecration, In life or death Thine evermore to be. [Verse 2] Help me, O Lord, to keep my pledge unbroken! Guard Thou my ways, my thoughts, my tongue, my heart; Help me to trust the word which Thou hast spoken, That from Thy paths my feet may ne'er [ never ] depart. [Verse 3] Help me, O Lord! My strength is only weakness; Thine, Thine the power by which alone I live; Help me each day to bear the cross with meekness, Till Thou at last the promised crown shalt give. TO OUR FRIENDS AND VISITORS: We cordially welcome you to the 1943 Graduation Exercises of the College. This completes its 49th year. Next year, 1944, we will (D.V.) celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the College. This Service gives us the happy opportunity of fellowship with many whose prayers and sacrificial offerings have sustained the spirit and service of the College through another year. We trust that others present will also join in the partnership of this great enterprise for the Kingdom of God. During the past session, 245 students were registered in the regular Three - Year Course, and an equal number were enrolled in the Evening Classes. A Graduating Class of 58 young men and women will receive the College Diploma and 15 others will receive the Evening Class Certificate. Since the beginning of the war, at least 75 recent students of the Bible College have entered the Army, the Navy, or the Air Force. Two of them have lost their lives, and two are prisoners of war in Germany. Nine former students are now in the Chaplaincy Service. Many others are serving in various other forms of essential war service. The graduates of the Regular Course now number 1,641 of whom at least 240 have entered the Christian ministry and 480 have gone to the foreign mission field. Before the war broke out they were to be found serving the Kingdom of God in 38 different countries of the world. Hundreds of other graduates are also serving God sacrificially in Churches, Sunday Schools, Hospitals, City and Rural Missions and other Christian institutions across the Dominion and the Unted States. In order that all young people, regardless of financial circumstances, who feel called to Christian service, may take advantage of the training the College provides, no tuition fees are charged. Students pay a registration fee of $15.00 (Evening Course $8.00). The College is dependent on God's gracious provision through the good will and generosity of His people. We earnestly invite you to have a share in this enterprise and opportunity. Any gift you make, whether large or small, will be gratefully acknowledged by the Treasurer. A copy of the College Annual Report will be sent you upon request. On behalf of the Board of Governors, JOHN WESTREN. Treasurer. E. G. BAKER President.
