[ PAGE TWO ] Class of 1939 CARRIE BARTLETT, ELLEN McKAY MARIORIE HOLBORN, PERCY RAINEY EVELYN HUNT, RUSSELL ROBINSON OLIVE MARTIN, ALFRED WILLIS [ Three lines separating the graduates from the president's message. ] Important Message From The President The purpose of the London Bible Institute is to give young people a thorough knowledge of the Bible, and to train them in effective methods of presenting the Gospel to others. These eight graduates have completed the three year diploma course. Parents whose children expect to go to college or university should see that thev have at least one year in the Institute before beginning their college course that their faith may be well grounded. Will you continue to pray for this work? The Institute is supported entirely by the gifts of the Lord's people. We need a thousand dollars at once to balance the budget. Will you help? Ten people giving one hundred dollars each, or forty people giving twenty five dollars each would do it. Smaller sums gladly accepted. This is imperative to keep the Institute on a sound financial basis, will you see me or the financial secretary at the close of this service and tell us what you will do. Thanking you, I am Yours in Him, J. W. Mahood, President. [ there are some handwritten notes on the left side of the paper but they are indecipherable . ] ***** This is the end of the e-text.
